ABABABABABABABA MY FRIEND'S PARENT'S ARE CRAZY!!!  I mean we all say that, but every so often you run across someone whose parents genuinely are no-bones-about it bat-shit crazy.  This is no simple nagging about deoderant stains on your black shirt crazy, or going out in public wearing a flamingo t-shirt and umbrella hat crazy.

THEY'RE !@#%%^$!@!# OUT OF THEIR MINDS!!!  Confines you to the house for a month crazy!!  Dictates everything you eat crazy!!  Deliberately inflicts severe psychological pain crazy!!

AND THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!

ABABABABABABABABAPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

Dear lord, please give me the patience and understanding to not murder my friend's parents.  Because then her college money would evaporate.  But I'd otherwise consider it.

ABABABABABABAB-::END TRANSMISSION:: PFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Music:Johnny Appleseed/The Lord is Good to me (internal soundtrack)

I think I just became the biggest nerd I know.  Impressive, I know, seeing as I attend anime conventions and participate in all sorts of tom-nerdery, but seriously, I have just broken the sound barrier of nerd!  Guess how I spent my morning.

I just got my wisdom teeth pulled, so if you guessed "downing pain killers", drinking mass quantities of tea" or "gumming soggy banana bread", you'd be part right, but there was an even BETTER way I chose to spend my convalescence!!!

I WROTE A SONG TO REMEMBER ALL THE MAJOR PARTICIPANTS OF THE WOMEN'S RIGHTS MOVEMENT IN ANTEBELLUM AMERICA!!!

w000gh!!!  What an interesting person I'm turning out to be!  (cough).  Soon I'll be collecting bottle caps, putting on overalls and singing "The Lord is Good to Me" at children's music festivals.  Along with the necessary self-choreographed hand signals, of course. ♫ The sun and the rain and the apple seed, the Loooord is goood to meeee!!!

It's set to the tune of "Waltzing Matilda".  Here's one of the better verses, but I'm sure they all sound good if you've been eating more painkillers than food for the past 24 hours:

♫These last four were less active, although they spoke out forcefully:
Theodore Parker, Henry Ward Beecher,
George Williams and last of all, Parker Pillsbury,
who has a name that makes me want to bake croissants!

Sgt. McNerd, signing out.  No further nerdery needed here, Sir!! Have a nice day!!

RAWWWRRRR,  my little livejournal account has been starving for attention!! Good thing this isn't like neopets, where you get back after six months of ignoring it and there's an imaciated little creature with a sad face and a note saying "Your aisha is STARVING!" How could you do that to such a dear little thing?  You'd better go to that giant omelette crater QUICK!

ANYhoo, now is the best time for writing livejournals, the time when one should be sleeping. :P Life has been fun, with a nice visit to Eugene (the town) last weekend.  I MISS ALL THE HIPPY FOOD!  Well, and the people, too.  Haha!  I never realized how important it was for me to have nerdage in my life.  Come on, UPS!  Step it up!  Where are my little glasses-clad fanboys gushing about the various levels of perceived badassery that their magic cards contain?  Where are my little narutards ranting about their favorite yaoi pairings?  I miss them ALL!! >___<;  Well, maybe not the narutards quite so much, but still!  Well, at least I'll get my nerdiness meter filled up a bit during Akicon....  Damn it, who should I cosplay?!  I'll freeze to death as Faye!!  Ah, how we suffer for our art...

Ciao for now!

I'M AT DA COLLEGE!!!  School started early for us, no?  It's been a week of lots and LOTS of orientation activities and name games and all that stuff.  Normally that stuff annoys the heck out of me, but most of the people on campus are so amicable that it's not really a problem.  I still have some stuff to do, but I stayed up late watching Practical Magic with Michael, the fella in the room next door.

Oh!!!  I got into the language and culture house!  A HOUSE!!!  And you know what?  There's not a single person here that I don't like.  Isn't that something?  Out of thirteen people, you'd think that there'd be at least one jackass, but if there's one here, they're very good at hiding it.

AND JUST BECAUSE I'M A LOSER WHO LIKES CATS:

P.S. THANKS SO MUCH TO DOROTHY WHO IS FINISHING MY ANKO COSTUME!! I OWE YOU BIG TIME!!

I GOT A TATTOO!!  I'M SO HAPPY WITH IT!!  I go three un-outlined henna-colored stars of decreasing size behind my right ear.  It's something I've been planning for quite a while, but it was still nice to exercise my full-adult status (My birthday was last week).  It was especially nice since I went to buy Wild Adapter (which merits a sketchy 18+ rating) and DIDN'T GET CARDED!!  Where's the fun in that?!  What kind of perverse, spindle-brained Borders employee leaves a young and innocent-looking damsel such as myself uncarded?!  IT'S SIMPLY NOT RIGHT.

Hahaha! :P Anyways, I'm happy I got my tattoo.  Maybe I'll harass the Internet with some pictures of it later...  It's your turn next, Dorothy! :)

TV: "Oh, it's kinky transformer, isn't it?"
Dorothy: "Oh yes, Sunkist.  Yes it is."

Heheheheh... So Dorothy and I were watching the Hong Kong release of One Piece (you know, the ones with really crappy subtitles?)  Well, it actually turned out to be really entertaining...  even though I had no idea what was going on plot-wise.  Here are some of the names that they gave the characters:

Luffy------------Roof
Usopp---------Crook Bu (?!)
Sanji-----------Sunkist (LOL!!)
Crocodile-----Clock Dall/Dell/Dale

We eventually decided that it was a medley of product placement and subliminal messaging (we both felt the need for sodas after Sanji made his appearance), but it was fun anyways.  Ciao ciao!

HOLY CANNOLI, WHY WON'T MY SELF-IMPOSED READING LIST STOP GROWING?!?!  At this rate I'm going to be reading every piece of feminist nonfiction recommended by every feminist magazine that I can get my hands on.  Along with the feminist magazines themselves.  And a bunch of other crap.  Sometimes I wonder if I actually understand the stuff I read or if it just makes me feel smart.  Bah.  Well, I guess slogging through an article on the internalization of sexism or Maquiladoras or toxic cosmetics is better than just ignoring stuff altogether....  >___<  WHY WON'T MY BRAIN LEAVE ME ALONE?!

P.S. I ADORE EUGENE.  DID YOU ENJOY YOUR DAILY DOSE OF GRATUITOUS SAPPINESS?  GOOD.

   TO COSNERDS ONLY:

Would anyone be interested in doing an Alice in Wonderland group for Kumoricon?  Dorothy and I have been talking about it for a long time and thought that it would be fun...  Dorothy's interested in being Alice, Tweedledum/dee, or the March Hare, and I'm interested in being either the White Rabbit or the Mad Hatter, but we're not overly attached to anything.  Here's a list of characters for anyone who's interested:

Alice
March Hare
Mad Hatter
Cheshire Cat---Gabby
Red Queen
The White Queen
The Queen of Hearts
The King of Hearts
White Rabbit---Chris
The Dormouse
The Caterpillar
The Dodo
Cards
Bill the Chimney Sweep
Tweedledum and Tweedledee
The Duchess
Flamingos
The Gryphon
The Mock Turtle

These are all the characters we could think of from the actual books... We thought it'd be interesting, because everyone could think up their own designs for the characters.  I'd be fun to have a common theme, like EGL and kodona or Steampunk or something.  THIS COULD BE SO MUCH FUN!! Let us know what you think.

P.S. AMY NEEDS TO BE THE DORMOUSE!! SO SAYETH DOROTHY!!!

EDIT: I'm going to put peoples' names next to the characters they want to be, if they're pretty sure that that's the character they want.

Let's try this again... I was uploading old pics from my digital camera, and look what I found! Trippy night photos of Disneyland from when I went to see Cousin Sarah! The poor thing got jaw surgery and is still on a crazy restricted diet.... ;_____; I hope that works out for her... Why do the worst things happen to the nicest people!? Seriously! That's been the theme of the last few days! But anyhow, YES!! Trippy night photography!

Update on the train tickets: It turns out that when we were searching for them online, we typed in that two people would be going on the trip, so the website gave us the price for TWO people instead of the individual ticket prices.  So we went down to the train station and lo and behold, we get  two tickets for the price of one!! So we'll both be train-ing up there for about 70-odd dollars.  SWEET!!  Here's for harassing people at the train station and getting discounts!!

In other news, view my latest experiment with health food!! If you guessed that this was a disgusting cup full of green sludge, then think again!!  It's a disgusting cup full of HIGHLY NUTRITIOUS green sludge!!  It's a mix of spirulina and other veggies, multiple powdered fruits, and vanilla-flavored whey protein powder.  It tastes how I imagine one of those pink bars in a urinal to taste.  Will I be brave and try it again tomorrow?!?!

I need to get Dorothy to help me improve my livejournal skills... They're somewhat lacking in the picture-posting department. : /

    Wait, I just read the theme for GasuKan ver. 5.0.  Would Faye still be acceptable?  I guess she's kind of sketchy as to the good/bad thing (like just about everybody else in that show), but it might be kind of a stretch.... I might ignore the theme all together, but.... meh, I don't know.  --_____--;

I also found out that train tickets are a whopping TWO HUNDRED BUCKS A POP!!!! JEEZY CREEZ, ARE THE WHEELS MADE OF GOLD?!!?  WILL I GET CAVIAR??!?!?!  AAAAUUUUUGH!!!!  So, yeah.  We might be taking the bus~

Okay, Mr. Livejournal.  Maybe I won't let you die quite yet.  ¬____¬

Soooo, Dorothy and I are planning to make it up to Seattle for the next Gasukan!! Yay!! I know it's a little crazy, but we're both burnt-out seniors and need the excitement more than we need the sanity.  Kind of.  I guess.  :P  So I was all "Shweet! I'll get a jump on our Bebop group and make Faye!" And then... lo and behold, Dorothy and I go on to try on swimsuits at Ross and....

HOLY CRAPOLA!! I'M GOING TO NEED TO RUN FOR SIXTEEN HOURS A DAY TO PULL OFF THAT OUTFIT!!!!

Stupid booty shorts, nemesis of the wide-hipped... I'm sure I'll make is somehow. :P

Hi there!  I haven't posted an entry in, what, forever?  Hmm... I suppose I should probably keep up on my online journaling, but I didn't really see the point for a while there.  Oh well.  I suppose that online journals don't really need to have a point...
We've been doing this writers workshop thing in English, where we all sit around and read our stuff out loud and comment on it.  It's kind of nice and kind of awkward at the same time.  No one had any criticism for me, which was both flattering and annoying.  It'd be nice to have something concrete to work on...  Oh!  Look at this spiffy doodle page that Dorothy and I cranked out a while ago.  I think that most of the upside-down doodles are hers.

I'M AT THE PORTLAND JUGGLING FESTIVAL!!!!

And guess who I saw.  Huh? Huh?  It was GREG MALDONADO!!!  PROABABLY ONE OF THE TOP FIVE CONTACT JUGGLERS IN THE WORLD!!!!!  I was just kind of standing there going "ubbaf-wubaba-ubbuwubbath." Translation: "SON OF A @$#@% THAT'S @#$#%-ING GREG MALDONADO!!!!"  I met his girlfriend, too.  Her name is Jane and she's super nice (and has blue hair, which is always a plus).  She taught me the reverse of the arm roll, I learned Lance's flourish from Lance himself, and a guy named Jason taught me "the itsy bitsy spider", which is this really floaty-looking isolation and not a children's song.  I'm still trying to pry my way into one of the social circles and score me some homies, but that will come with time.  It's too bad I can't come up here for the Wednesday juggling sessions... Ciao ciao!!  I'm off to juggle.

Signing off, this has been your host and chaperone, Kiki McDufflebag.  Go find me on myspace.  Or rather, don't.  Why don't you go and listen to some Italian pop music instead?

RAWR!!!!  My journal is writing in a little column, and there's nothing I can do about it....

My orchestra conductor came up to me today and asked me if I could be principal bass for the Y.S., or Youth Symphony.  I'm not exactly sure how to feel about that... On one hand it would mean (dum-dum-dum dum) POWERRRRR!!!!  I could unleash my fierce and unyielding  principal bass-iness on poor and unsuspecting freshmen and sophomorrrres!!!!   (Meaning that I'm vain and like being in charge of a situation.  I'd treat them nice!!  I promise!!!)  But on the other hand, I originally quit Y.S. because it was a huge pain in the ass.  However, that pain in the ass has since graduated from South, and since I don't have such a heavy schedule this year, it might actually be doable.  But ARRRRGH!!!  Freaking decisions!!!  I suppose I could join now and drop out later if I don't like it.  But then I would be abandoning my little ducklings... .:sniffle:.

It's the second day of weight training, and already big guys that I hardly even know are stopping to talk to me in the halls.  That class makes me feel SO short.  And the teacher complimented me on my bicep curl technique today.  Tee hee!

    P.S. Parfaits are LOVE!!!!
